I never thought I'd say one if the most important goals I'd witness would be at a testimonial.
Dean Ashton scored a beauty with a bicycle kick and although it was the classiest of the 11 scored, the moment Taylor tombides kicked his goal in the back of the net and looked straight up at the sky we all knew how much it meant to him and I realised that I and the rest of the stadium had witnessed one of the most poignant goals at the Boleyn.
The whole crowd clapped until the restart and Taylor was able to give Dylan got the send of he deserved.

This is one of the main reasons I always regard Chelsea as a small time club of upstarts. When I collected stickers in the early eighties, they simply never warranted their own spread because they were never in Division 1. I think they got a team photo and a badge in a couple of years, but even the badge was half sized. Same applies to Newcastle.
